Wentworth discovers gas in Tanzania | The Oil & Gas Year

Canadian upstream oil and gas company Wentworth Resources announced today that it has discovered gas at the MB-4 development well. The well, located in the 756-square-kilometre Mnazi bay concession in south Tanzania, was drilled to a total depth of 2,788 metres, targeting the Lower Mnazi bay and the Upper Mnazi bay reservoirs. Wentworth Resources recorded a flow rate of 628,704 cubic metres per day at the Lower Mnazi bay and 532,416 cubic metres per day at the Upper Mnazi bay reservoir.
